Sleek, powerful, and eye pleasing make the BM5A monitors the obvious choice. They are small, but pack a powerful punch for any musical style. If space is a concern, look no further, and you will never sacrifice performance.

Setting up right out of the box took less than three minutes. Plug the monitors into AC, plug the XLRs into the mixer, and I was operational! I was absolutely blown away by the bass response produced out of these very small and compact monitors. I began to immediately search through hundreds of CDs for anything with heavy bass. For the next hour I listened to music that I have listened to for many years, and it was if it was somehow new to me! I tried as many varieties as possible, nothing sounded bad, everything was smooth and silky, responsive to whatever I pushed through. I began to adjust EQ, switching high-pass and low-pass filters with pleasing results every time. I soon realized how easy it would be to tune these monitors to any type of room, with or without diffusion, large or small, with complete and total ease. Anyone from the project studio amateur to the professional audio person will want a pair of these monitors.

During my listening, I was staring at the monitors, and I realized how pleasing to the eye they are. There is nothing over the top with how these monitors are constructed. They are sleek, powerful, and atmosphere enhancing, visually and sonically. They are flexible to any type of environment, any type of music, and most importantly, they sounded outstanding, no matter the volume, no matter the style of music. The most disappointing aspect of the whole process was having to disconnect them, and put back my old monitors! I am a true believer in the BM5As.
