Queen’s Roger Taylor and Brian May accepted a PRS for Music (Performing Rights Society for Music, a UK association of composers, songwriters, and music publishers) Heritage Award on behalf of the band — fittingly, the award was bestowed at the site of the band’s first gig, Imperial College, in London. Queen’s career featured 16 number-one albums, 18 number-one singles, and over 300 million records sold.
