Q: What does the “Multi-Soak” feature on Mesa/Boogie’s Royal Atlantic amp do?
A: The Royal Atlantic’s Multi-Soak is an assignable power attenuator. This means that an independent attenuator setting can be given to each of the three modes in the Royal Atlantic head. There are four levels of attenuation available for each mode, and you can bypass the Multi-Soak completely with a front-panel switch.
