Getting your MIDI sequences from your keyboard sequencer into your computer.

“How do I get the MIDI sequences I wrote on my Korg Triton workstation into Pro Tools (or any computer DAW)?”

This is fairly easy – you just have to make sure you have a floppy drive for your computer. Also, this will work for Pro Tools or nearly any other software DAW.

1. Save the sequence(s) to Floppy using the Korg Triton’s Save To Disk function as a Type 1 Standard MIDI File.
2. Mount the DOS-formatted floppy on the Pro Tools (or other) computer, and from the file menu in Pro Tools, Import MIDI and select the .MID file on the floppy disk and hit Open.

That’s it! Again, this should work for just about any software DAW.
