The XLi amps bring new meaning to the word “value,” coming in at ridiculous prices yet cranking out equally ridiculous amounts of super-clean power. There’s plenty of connectivity onboard, with both unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR inputs and binding post and Speakon outputs. Power, fault, signal, and clip indicators keep you informed. Forced-air cooling and fault protection keep the amp rolling and shielding keeps the signal clean in wireless situations.
There are four members of the new XLi family:
- XLi 800 — 300 watts per channel stereo/parallel, 600 watts mono bridged
- XLi 1500 — 450 watts per channel stereo/parallel, 900 watts mono bridged
- XLi 2500 — 750 watts per channel stereo/parallel, 1,500 watts mono bridged
- XLi 3500 — 1350 watts per channel stereo/parallel, 2,700 watts mono bridged
