Q: I have a couple of hardware compressors that I’d like to use when mixing down in PreSonus Studio One. I don’t see a way to make a hardware insert on a mixer channel. Is this possible?
Q: Hardware inserts are created in Studio One (Professional only) using the included Pipeline plug-in. This plug-in not only allows you to route the channel’s signal in and out of your audio interface to your external hardware, it can also “ping” the insert signal path and allows adjustments for any latency that might be incurred.
