More and more software products are going to “electronic delivery,” where you purchase the product from a vender (Sweetwater, of course) but the software is actually delivered to you as a download rather than on a physical disc. Expect this trend to become even more prevalent.
We have occasionally received tech support calls from customers who have purchased software but can’t get the download to work. In almost every case, it’s because the user has tried to download an update rather than the full software file.
When you go to download your newly purchased software, look for the “full installer” as your first download, then, if updates are available download those after installing the full installer.
