Using absorptive acoustic foam or glass fiber panels for treating the sonics in your studio or rehearsal space? The treatments will perform even better if you space them away from the wall by an inch or two. The spacing gets the treatment material away from the reflecting surface behind the treatment, and places the treatment out where it can have more effect and can reach down to lower frequencies.
