Ableton has announced that version 8.4 of Live will feature native 64-bit support. Even better news is that registered Live 8, Live Suite 8, Live Intro, and Live Lite 8 users can download a beta version of the new software now! The beta version allows the use of more than four gigabytes of RAM, which means that much larger Live Sets can be used. The 64-bit version of Live runs on Windows Vista 7/8 and on Intel Macs with OS X 10.5 and higher. Currently, Max for Live, video, and The Bridge are not supported in Live 8.4. Ableton is working with their partners to add support for these features.
