Buy an iPod nano RED and Help Save Lives!
Have we got your attention? Good. The iPod has come a long way since its introduction, now offering more options and colors than ever. But if you purchase the new iPod nano RED Special Edition, Apple will give $10 of its purchase price to the Global Fund to fight AIDS in Africa. So you not only get the coolest iPod on the block, but also a good feeling knowing your purchase is actually helping make a difference in a place where almost nobody owns - or has even heard of Ð an iPod. Actually, (RED) was the brainchild of U2 lead singer Bono and Bobby Shriver, created specifically to inspire businesses to help in the fight against AIDS in Africa. And what better way to get the ball rolling than by getting the world's most iconic companies to make uniquely branded products.
Available in 4GB and 8GB models, the iPod nano (PRODUCT) RED holds up to 2,000 songs, 25,000 photos, and now more than a little hope. Of course, you get all the features you'd expect from the world leader in digital music players, like a brilliant 1.5-inch color display, up to 24 hours of battery life, and seamless integration with the iTunes Music Store that lets you import your CDs and shop for songs, podcasts, and audiobooks, then sync them in minutes. All in a durable aluminum enclosure that tells the world you've chosen to join the (PRODUCT) RED movement. If you want to know more about the work being done by the Global Fund and (RED), you can visit the JOINRED website.

Guitar Of The Day
Not only are Ibanez guitars getting better and better, they're also getting harder to keep in stock because these beauties are priced to sell. A perfect example is the Ibanez SZ520QM, which combines classic features with modern innovations. In this case, it's the fat, warm tone of a maple and mahogany body with string-through design, matched to a pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers and a newly designed fixed bridge. Once again, Ibanez also chose not to come up with some slick name for this guitar and decided to simply let the guitar speak for itself. An even bigger surprise is the surprisingly affordable price tag - under $550 and with free shipping thrown in for good measure. And yes, it's in stock right now in a gorgeous Gold Amber finish.
The first thing you notice is the guitar's quilted maple top, which looks like it belongs on a guitar costing two or three times what the SZ520QM sells for. The maple top is set over a solid mahogany body that's actually meatier than its S-Series ancestors, yet still contoured enough to keep weight from being an issue. The U.S.A.-made Seymour Duncan/IBZ pickups are a great match and you'll get meaty fundamentals along with sweet harmonics when you play anywhere on the 3-piece maple set neck (yes, it's glued in, not bolted on!). In fact, this is the first S-derived design to feature a set-in neck, providing greater sustain and easier access to the upper frets. It's complemented by a bound rosewood fingerboard, graced by the special Ibanez "SZ" design inlay at the 12th fret. Finally, the SZ520QM uses through-body staggered stringing to compensate for different string thicknesses. This also provides superior tonal balance, feel, articulation, and sustain while the new Gibraltar III bridge gives the SZ520QM fixed-bridge simplicity.
