digital Peformer midi problems

Im using DP-4.6 and the problem is it seems to not boot up like it use to about a week ago.The computer is telling me that DP cant start up due to a midi system crash and to quit all midi applications and re-start.I think the problem was when I loaded up some new software for my Mlan16e card for my Motif ES6 keyboard.I uninstalled the software but I still have the midi crash issue with digital Performer.As far as I can tell all of my original midi settings were wiped out and when I tried to set it back to it's original state the program crashes. Please help!!! I have a show this weekend and need to use my digital Performer to make a re-mix performace track.

Try trashing all the MOTU-related preferences in user/library/preferences, and in user/library/preferences/Digital Performer. Restart.

Try just the DP and MOTU MIDI prefs first.
