yamaha mg166 cx-usb sound board

I am very very new to running a sound board. I am dealing with a yamaha mg166 cx-usb sound board. The faders on the board do not work at all to adjust the sound volume for the music or mics. Also only one monitor is working. No speakers nothing else but the left stage monitor.

Back ground, this is for my church. We had a sound guys come in and set everything up. It was working great when he left. Came back and it was all messed up it doesn't look like any of the knobs were moved but the faders aren't working. We had a decent sound guy but he has stopped coming to church. Just trying to get it set up we have two speakers facing out (one on each side of the stage) and two monitors facing the singers (one of these has a short, but we are looking into replacing it).

Thank you for any help you can offer. I don't know where to start.

This could be any number of things. This board has a lot of features and it could be any one of them not set correctly that would cause problems. Any way you can take a decent picture of the board as it is setup and then explain what specifically you have running on each channel? Otherwise, you'll probably need someone with some expertise to physically look at it.

I'm also going to ask a mod to move this into the live sound forum, where you might get more attention from people who do this professionally.
