Hello everyone, This is my third post in the hard a straining road to learning (or trying to) learn ProTools, M-Powered in my case. Now I have a question about Protools snap functions. As some of you know by now, I used to have Adobe Audition as my default DAW, in this program the snapping functions are great, you can drag tracks and place them exactly in the beginning or end of another without no further problems, it has some sort of magnetic properties, this is magnificent to place the cursor also, if you place it near a beginning or an end of a clip it will automatically place right in top of it. In ProTools the only snapping functions I've seen so far is in Grid Mode, which is really helpful if you are working with loops, but not with regular recorded audio because like it or not, no one plays exactly in the beat, the other snapping function I found is right click on the region and "snap to previos", or "snap to next", this is kind of helpful, but in my situation I have a clip in the middle of other two, this region isn't enough large to fit the hole between them, so I click "Snap to previous" and the beginning of the clip is now fixed, but when I want to enlarge the middle region to fit between the other two, I just don't find a way to snap it perfectly to the beginning of the second clip.
I tried with shuffle mode and nothing.
DOES ANYBODY KNOW IF THERES SOME WAY TO HAVE THESE MAGNETIC SNAP PROPERTIES IN PROTOOLS?! OR ANYTHING SIMILAR?!
