Digital Recorder -Pro Tools MBox2 Mini hookup

Hi,

I hooked up an 8 track digital recorder to my MBOX 2 Mini using RCAs. Do I need to adjust any setting in Pro Tools (SPIDIF, etc.) I am running my vocals and some guitars through my BR-8 8 track to slave some effects since I can't afford too many ProTools effects (RTAs). Thanks for your help.

The MBox2Mini doesn't support S/PDIF, so no, nothing else should be required. Just make sure you don't set input 1 to DI, or else you'll be running htat RCA to 1/4" line level signal into a preamp, which might cause clipping.
