Has anyone out there heard the Vintech mic pre's and EQ's? Supposedly they are very exacting replicas of the Neve 1272 pre and 1073 mic pre/EQ. We will be carrying them here at Sweetwater, but haven't gotten our first shipment in yet and I wonder if there is anyone out there who has been able to make a real world comparison. I am a huge fan of the old Neve stuff, but not a fan of the inflated prices they bring on the used market or the troubleshooting nightmare that often follows trying to deal with 40 year old components. Does anybody have the straight scoop on these reissues?
