I'm looking to go into audio post-production for film and television as a career and am trying to build up a strong portfolio. Can anyone out there give me some pointers as to what sort of thing I could work on to really show off what I can do? Bearing in mind I have very limited access to recording facilities and a student loan to pay off! It would be nice if anyone could give me an idea of what someone might look for if viewing my portfolio also.

Many thanks to anyone who might be able to help me out!
