808's and bass tone generators??

I am looking to add the SE-1 mono analog sythn to my studio, but I want to make sure that this will suit my needs.

I want to create a test cd with 3 sec tones from 10Hz thru 100Hz in 5Hz intervals. I also want to create sine sweeps and pink noise samples.

Will the SE-1 provide these tones? Will it also produce the old 808 and 909 type sounds for a retro 80's rap cd that I am producing?

I very highly suggest checking out Roland's V-Synth.

I'm about to give you a call about this, but the sampling capabilities in combination with Pro Tools will be a very useful tool for what you want to do.

if you have Pro Tools, why don't you use the signal generator that is built in for the test tones? It won't do sine sweeps and pink noise to my knowledge though...
