    Headphone amps question?

I have M-audio audiophile 192 soundcard and a Technics rp-dh1200 headphone. I am getting output to headphones from monitor out of the sound card. As headphone has only one socket I only use one input of the monitor outs. I want to buy a headphone amp to use both of the inputs but my question is that my headphones do support any headphone amps? I am scared of burning my headphones. Also if the answer is yes, can you give me some headphone amp models please?

How the hell do you "burn" headphones???

Been using a Behringer HA4700 this year (got it for Christmas). Excellent unit, nice and loud, great price, zero problems.

What I mean by burn is giving high voltage to headphones and broking them down.

I suppose there is always a first time, but headphone amplifiers are to drive headphones, not damage them. Have you ever heard of any headphones anywhere in the world being damaged by one? Where did the idea of damage come from?

....and anyone who's been around audio equipment for any time knows to start with the volume knob turned >>>>DOWN<<<!

If you turn the knobs all the way up and then power on, you're on your own!

Have a look at this one.
    http://www.smproaudio.com/HP6.htm

will power 1 to 6 headphones and will allow 4 different mixes for when you record a live band and everyone wants a different mix not just a different level. You can choose to send the same signal to all headphone if you wish.
