    Uses for Pitch Shifters?

What are people using pitch shifters for? I know there are the standard things like harmonies, fattening up vocals with some detuning, etc., but how about some different uses? Who pitches down snares for more impact? Anybody using them on reverb returns? What are the cool applications people are into? We'd love to hear from you!

    drums

The effect is cool on lots of drum sounds. On many occasions I have pitched toms up or down a little, not so much to change the pitch, but the sound of the drum going through the pitch processor is an affectation I think is interesting in certain contexts.
