    copying audio CD's

I'm having the worst problem ever. I'm doing some recording of audio into a stand alone CD recorder. The original copy is perfect. When I try to copy the disc using my computer and any software I get the crappiest sound ever. I get nothing but pops and crackles and it's just mush. How or what can I do?

    I dunno. Some tips:
    Burn at lower speeds.
Use cd-rs of a certain brand, not the cheapest ones.
Copy the contents of the original copy to your hard disc first.
Make sure you use the correct sample rate (44.1 kHz) and bit depth (16 bits) and 2 channels (stereo).

Thanks Pingel. It was burning at a lower speed that fixed it.
