Looking to use a A/D converter between a Manley Mic pre and a Roland VS 2480 ...the Roland uses a proprietary RBUS system.....So do we need some type of DIF/Adat adaptor from the Spdif I/O of a Rosetta or other converter ?
thanks kindly

The Rosetta does have ADAT outputs, and while you can convert ADAT to RBUS with Roland's DIFAT box, in your case, since the Rosetta is at most a 2 channel unit, you are better off just going into the VS2480 via stereo SPDIF cable.
We presently have all of our external effects connected via spdif/optical..so should we convert those to our Rbus?
Here is our senario....... So if we have all of our external effects routed through the Rbus (via AE7000 ) and a Rosetta or similar converter into the SPdif and the out of our VS optical going to the digtital I/O of a mastering compressor,,,,,,,,what kind of real problems will we expect ???????
