    is there a plug in....

    that can timestretch a sample across a midi device?

    yeah, i thought i could get away with that one. i didn't know how to ask what i wanted to ask.

    but anyway. if i get a sample from an old record. is there a plug in that will stretch the sample and change the key of the sample, and not time stretch it?

    if thats makes more sense...

    Hmmm....

    In Cool Edit Pro there's a native plug under Time/Stretch that allows you to do that...I....think.
