    War and Business

With the war going on and all, there was this article on the business side of things that happens.... which we here believe is the main reason for this war.... i am not trying to blame any country to rake up a war of words or anything like that here.... actually, people in this part of the world dont give a sh*t if Bush and his posse beat up Saddam or close dance with him.... but being here, we get to see different outlook on things.... just thought you guys should read this as well....

Check this link out... its an article from a weekly magazine...

People profiting from war? Nawwww, that couldn't be. That would be wrong.

Sad fact is, it all boils down to another way to redistibute wealth. War is paid for by taxes, which the wealthy have shelters from, and the poor don't. And who do the profits go to? The wealthy.

Hey just think of all those new war songs that are going to need studios to record in. Lets all profit!

Is war good for business? You tell me. This is a screen capture from my NetExPro terminal on my desk in my office. This was right about at market close. Look at the S&P and DJIA charts. Also, check out the gold pricing. Best week since '82, folks..

The american economy has a direct impact on many countries.... So if US is not doing well that means many other countries suffer as well...

With the ailing US economy, Bush has no other option.... a war is the only way to kick start your economy.... it has always worked in the past and it will work now as well.....

I guess everybody in the world wants this to be a quick and low casualty war, so that people can get on with their lives....

Of course after this war, England and the United states will do the ' rebuilding of Iraq ' which the Iraqis will pay by selling their oil.... in other words a million dollars of work will be billed at 10 million.... and no other country than US, Britain, Spain, Australia and few other European countries will be subcontracting....

i guess this is how the world works.... sometimes i dont understand it... and i dont want to either.....

    cheers,

    DC

If what you say is true, then why did the UN previously pass resolutions supporting the use of force against Iraq. Also, it would be interesting to see how some would feel if the very house they lived in was blown to bits by terrorists.

Well, the first gulf war was because Iraq forcefully annexed Kuwait.... that is a big No No ... hence the UN resolution against Iraq...

this war is because Iraq did not comply with the previous UN resolutions, one of them was Iraq were not supposed to make weapons of mass destruction, like chemical and biological.... it is normal for all the countries to wait till the resolutions are passed.... the UN then dictates who will be involved with disarming Iraq....

the fact that the US jumped the gun suggests that Iraq did make the weapons and america wants its troops there.... reasons for that is mentioned in my previous posts.... If every body would have waited for the UN to give the go ahead signal then it would be France, Russia and others who would be sent to the battle field and consequently involve themselves in rebuilding, showcasing their weapons, etc... the US, Briton and a few others, short cut the rest... and the rest are pissed... LOL....

i have to again let people here know that i am not trying to bad mouth any nation here..... its no secret that Iraq is involved with islamic terrorist cells... and these terrorists have claimed over a million peoples lives in my country..... let me say that again... "more than a million people" ... in the span of about 20 years....

so dont get me wrong and think i support Iraq or support the US.... I like most of the people on this part of the world dont give a sh*t...... i am just pointing out the business aspects of a war here... that's all....

    cheers,

    DC
