My system:
HP Laptop
Pentium "m" 4
256MB RAM
External Firewire HDD for audio only.
TASCAM 428 Control surface

What happens:
When I play a tutorial in sonar (Midi and audio demo 2) everything is fine. I can drop my latency to around 11m sec. or less.

However, I tried to lay down a drum track with Drag and Drop Drummer using three tracks and the sound stutters like crazy. I get dropouts easily too.

Just seems odd that the demos which seem to more complex are handled better.

Any thoughts?
