CD Player in CEP 2.0

Am I missing something, or does Cool Edit Pro 2 no longer have a built-in CD Player. If it does, how do I view it?

I don't believe CEP ever had a built in CD player. Why exactly would you need one in CEP anyway?

YOu're not talking about extracting cd's into wav files are you?

If I am not mistaken, the CD portion of CEP is an add-on module and is not part of the core application.

It can be used to play, burn, and rip CD's.

I'm talking about the fact that in CE Pro 1.2 you could control your CD player from within CE Pro itself rather than with windows CD player or whatever.

Not to worry Steve, you are not crazy. I am very familiar with the CD player fuction on CEP. It's one of the features I use everyday. However, I am not sure about 2.0. Sorry.
