hi, merry christmas everybody.
1st I'm a novice when it comes to recording; I have a roland vs840 (zip disk)that I'm still learning how to use. But I'm thinking of going to pc because of the "hands on" (visual tracks, etc)you can get with it. (was thinking of Sonar btw) I guess my question is:
Would it be benificial to record instrument-roland-pc (if possible) or would it make more sense to just sell the roland and use that cash to enhance the pc?
I plan to spend around 1000$ (canuck money) on a pc. I plan on using guitars, mics, keyboards. And will use over 15 tracks typically per song.
