A-B Comparison Software

Does anyone know of a software program that allows A-B comparisons (or even A-B-C comparisons) of recorded sound files?

So, what I want to achieve is: by pressing a key or a switch, I'll be able to switch between looping sound files at will. I do not want the latency involved in switching a DAW between tracks (unless track switching is somehow programmable through a toggle key). I don't want to hit mute in a DAW application, and then hit unmute for another track. That's too distracting and it interprets the listening experience.

Just listen to a portion of one, then the same portion of the other. The one that moves you the most is the better one.
