So, I need to upgrade my interface. I am currently running the Apogee ONE. Love it, but I need a higher sample rate. My question is, if I upgrade to the Duet 2 or Quartet will I run into latency? I have heard that USB is inferior to FireWire due to this stuff. I will be recording guitar with a lot of pedals and mic'ing it stereo. I layer tracks a lot to create ambient music juiced with reverb. Any advice on what interface to get?
