I can't speak for Waves, and I don't know the answer to your question, specifically. But I can tell you it would be exceedingly rare for any manufacturer to divulge that sort of information publicly. If Waves is working on new rack processors, I can almost promise you they aren't willing to talk about it in a public forum such as this.

This is a great question, units like the L2, MaxxBass and of course the MaxxBCL has proven that creating a rack mount hardware units for our plug-ins creates new possibilities of use.
We are always on the search of maximizing the use of our products.
However as mentioned earlier by “Audiodude”, plans of that sort are not something we can publish.
    Hope you undersatnd.

I am demoing the CLA CLASSIC COMPRESSOR BUNDLE IN PROTOOLS 8.05.
Everytime I use any of the compressors on a midi track it creates a very noticeable static noise that can be heard while playing the track. The moment I bypass the compressor plugin the static goes away. It happens only in midi tracks not at all in a vocal track.

    Thanks

Waves Multirack software compatibility with the new Berhringer X32 digitial mixer

    Hi There:

Has anyone used the Multirack software with the new Berhringer X32 Mixer. It is a very impressive mixer with a lot of digital I.O. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
    Best,
    Hoyt

Hello, Yesterday I purchased the Kramer Master Tape plug in. I installed the waves license center(WLC) V9.
When opening the WLC I can log in but cannot sync. When trying to connect I get this error message:
    "A connection error has occurred.
Please check your internet connection and try again.
If the problem continues, contact Waves Tech Support."
I also went to the Waves web page and was able to log into my account but cannot access my account page.
This is extremely frustrating as I am a first time user of your product and this is my very first experience is
one where I can't activate or use the product I've already paid for.
The support page on your website is of no help whatsoever. Any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated

    Thumbs down Invalid registration number

    Hi GollyGeeSwell,

The same thing has happened to me, as well as getting 'invalid registration number' error. I made the purchase through 'Waves Universe' who told me they were contacting Waves Audio regarding this matter.

I also contacted Waves Support directly but they could not (in their arrogance IMO) be bothered to reply...'have'nt heard from Waves Universe either.

I'll think twice in future before purchasing any of their products.

    GollyGeeSwell and Mauri2,

I don't work for Waves, but I think I might be able to shed some light on what is going on. This is Thanksgiving weekend in the US, and Waves is having a huge sale. Some of their plugins are as much as 85% off the regular price. As you might imagine, this has meant a huge increase in the volume of orders over the past few days. I personally have sold more Waves plugins this weekend than I have in the rest of 2012.

With all of these new Waves customers trying to create accounts and register their products, Waves' servers are being pushed to the limit, and some people are experiencing errors. A good dealer is worth their weight in gold, and this is when having a good relationship with a dealer will pay off for you. They dealer can help you work this out, and be your advocate with Waves. It might take some patience though; they are dealing with tens of thousands new user registrations each day, and they have limited resources.

    Thanks for you info, Jeff,

I guess I was somewhat harsh in my post...it would've been nice if Waves had send an email regarding the issues to their account holders.

Anyway, I do like my Waves plugs,

    Mauri.

Ah, success! Does Waves ever visit this forum anymore? The reason I ask is that I have some question about the H-EQ plugin I bought from them and they never answered my email. Are they all about phone calls instead?
