I hope somebody can help me. I have a Yamaha MM6 that my dad bought me for my birthday. The LCD display went bad and I had to buy a new one. I installed it today and notice that the display is dark, even with the LCD Contrast at maximum. I notice also that on the old display there were 2 wires - - a red one and a white one - - soldered to 2 points on the old display: "+", and "-". On the new display there are what look like 2 small, copper-coloured pads marked "+" and "-" but I see no way to solder the 2 wires to them. Can somebody please advise?
