MAN!!! I KNEW IT!!!..DAMN......Too good to be true. I hooked this lil unit up and was plesantly surprised how much my REC IN noise level went down. Went to play it back..Nothing...Went to you tube...No WAV OUT audio.I had my WAV OUT set to my sound card so it should have been heard.. I opened up every available box and check it.THEN , it hit me, lets try letting the UCA handle WAV OUT..You can hear it now BUT, it wont record. Theres no REC IN settings for this unit!!!.. WHY? Plus, anothere down fall is that you cannot mute the REC IN "OUTPUT" like for when your talking on SKYPE so ya wont get the loop feed back.
Using my SB LIVE breakout box (RCA IN ) (AUX 2 in windows REC mixer) ..Im able to control WAV IN vol , record it straight off the computer, Im able to mute WAV IN 's "Output" so it wont feed back through the Mons. With one click of the mouse , Im using AUX 2 to record my studio tracks, OR WAV IN from the computer. PLUS ,another thing ya cant do with this unit is control the REC IN level of your instruments. WAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!..LOL... If anyone has figured out how to get there WAV IN and WAV OUT props working for recording from the interface AND recording from the computer with out just 1 click of the mouse, PLEASE let me know.Ive spent 1.5 hrs trying everything I know!!!
