Audio Tagging Software

Hi All,

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but here goes... I am an independent software developer with a shareware product on the market that specializes in tagging audio files, and I am trying to extend my market reach in order to drum-up more business. I guess my question is this; is there a need for audio tagging software in the music production industry? Do the leading music production apps cover this? Is this forum a good place to start in terms of extending my market reach? Any thoughts on this are greatly appreciated!

In my opinion if you could build on your app so that it can tag Wave files in addition to MP3s, your product would be of interest to every producer on the planet.

Hello and thanks for your suggestion. It does in fact support tagging of wav files. It also tags m4a, wma, and flac.

In response to your suggestion, it might be time for me to consider changing the name of the product to reflect the fact it works with other file types other than just mp3.
