need help please with removing vocals from a song

I bought the Soundforge Audio Studio 10. The program does state that I am able to remove vocals and create Karaoke tracks but the Channel Converter is not appearing on my Process tab. Can anyone help me please?

    vocal removal

There is a way to do this with phase... but that doesn't involve this software necessarily, it can be done on any system, if you're familiar with it?
Analogies are like sandwiches in that I am not making one now.

    you can always try this:

    - record left and right audio channels on two separate (mono) tracks.
    - invert the phase of one of the tracks, doesn't matter which one.
    - output your mix *in mono* to a new file.

anything that was panned dead center in the original will disappear from the mix. this usually includes the dry signal portion of the vocals, but also some stuff you hoped would remain, so your mileage may vary.

keep in mind that this likely makes for lousy audio, so it depends what you're after.
