2011 or 2012 American standard Strat

Any thoughts on these two models? Is newer better .. What about the fat 50's pickups?

I think they're both great. Better (as in the pickups) is totally subjective and you can't make any statement saying which is better but I do like the 50's; they're how strat pups are supposed to sound.

I agree with GM in regards to models and pickups. You can have two identical guitars playing thru the same amp setup and sound different most likely because of one player plays different than another player touch and style.
