    Question Tascam M-512 mixer

I just aqquired an old Tascam M-512 mixer. Not sure how to patch to get a signal to BR-1600 recorder. Or how to get signal to vu meters.

It didn't come with a manual? I'll bet you can search and find one on line. I kinda' remember that mixer, but it's been a LOOOONG time.... I believe there are tape inputs and outputs on RCA connectors. I would start there for sending signals to a recorder. But you'll still need to know the proper switches and buttons to press on the desk. Maybe if I saw a good photo of one I could help more, but before you go to all the trouble do a search for a manual. I'll bet something helpful turns up.

    Good luck.
