    roland keyboard (A90) spare parts

    Hi,
I'm looking for key hammers and keys for the Roland A90 (or RD700).
Does anyone know where I can find these?

    me too . . .

I need to purchase the weighted hammers for a Roland A-90 Keyboard, black keys now, I'm sure I'll need one for a white key soon enough. Does anyone have a link to a supplier?

    Bump, Me three

These hammers are poorly designed, and will all "go" soon. Anyone know where to get new sets or used parts? Anyone know what other keyboards used these hammers?

    A-90 hammers

Call Roland @ 323.890.3700. I ordered 5 of each (b & w) for around $5 apiece. They were shipped immediately. One of these days, I'm gonna take the darn thing apart AGAIN and move the busiest hammers to the extreme ends of the board and replace the ones showing hairline cracks in the plastic. Then I'm going to turn up my monitor . . . . . .

    Broken hammers

    Whoa, that was fast!
Thanks, I just got off the phone and ordered the parts. They are now $9.70 ea whites and $9.40 each blacks. ARGGH
I like your idea of scavenging hammers from the ends, especially at these prices. Sadly, I'm sure many more hammers will snap soon. Very poor design.

The one I fixed is a beautiful sight to behold, but it is tucked back in at the lowest key and I really don't want to open it up the beast again. Do you mean a pic of the new ones? That I can do if you'd like.

    Greatly Appreciated!!!

Thanks for these posts, everyone! Just traded out a higher couterbalance for the one that broke during a rehearsall. I almost passed out! Had no idea 1) how to fix it, and 2) where to get parts. Found a GREAT tutorial on YouTube that clearly showed how, and your info on price & phone number did the rest. THANKS, again... I have a Roland A90ex an an RD600.
