Can you run Cubase 6 live?

Hey!

Im currently in the process of trying to get an overall better sound and controlled sound in a band I'm in.
Is it possible to run cubase live and use the effects in the DAW?

If so, how?

Also Can I sync the temp in cubase to the metronome the drummer uses?

If so, How?
