Newbie would like help on equipment needed to record music and mic

I have been offered a slot on an internet radio show. They want the file in MP3 format. I’m presently using VirtualDJ 7 home edition, which is great for the music but can’t handle a mic. I wondered if any of you guys knew of a low cost option for another DJ software or a Digital Mixer that will do what I need. I have seen a Numark Mixtrack Pro DJ Controller that comes with Virtual DJ LE, that on spec, seems to do the job but would welcome any other suggestions.

Try getting a file converter software of some sort
