Focurite Octopre Dynamic to MOTU 2408 mkiii

Hello all,

I just replaced my tascam DM-24 with a focusrite octopre. Unfortuantely I can't get rid of digital distortion despite that the octopre says it's locked. I've tried using the octopre as the master, the motu as the master both via wordclock/bnc and adat. I've upgraded and installed the latest PCI-24 card software for Windows 7 64 bit to no avail. The adat bank on the motu just shows up with orange LED's on the inputs and the cumix shows each channel as being pegged out.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

If you're using word clock and not losing lock, the distortion is probably overload of the preamp or converters.
