I made an digital audio recording. There is constant wind distortion in the recording. Is there anyway to delete just the wind noise and save the audio?

If the wind is fairly constant, and you could find a quiet non-musical section of the recording you could isolate that sound and use it as a reference sound for Adobe Audition to then go through the rest of the recording and remover or reduce that from the overall soundscape.
