I need a good quality but inexpensive sound recorder for basic recording. I have a Shure wireless mic system and I currently plug in the receiver unit directly into a very basic Olympus voice recorder with a mic input. This recorder usually does okay except that it does often behave strangely and only records in WMA format. I need something that can record in wave format and perhaps runs on AC power, although it's not a must. I would also like it to begin automatically recording when it detects input from the mic receiver. Another plus would be the ability to record onto a flash drive, but it's not a must either. I would prefer to spend no more than $150, but might consider something closer to $200 if it's really worth it. Any suggestions?
