Dual Monitors

I would like to use two monitors with my Creation Station. I am using Sonar 8.5 Producer with windows 7. The video card has two outputs, one the older style and one the newer type. I have one monitor plugged into the new intput. Do I need an adapter to split the new signal from two monitors into one input (newer style) or do I have to use the two ports seperately even though they are different types.

Also how do I configure it in Sonar and windows to split the track and consol views to the two seperate monitors.

sounds like you have one VGA connector and one DVI connector. Just need monitors that support one of each and the associated cables. You set up for dual monitors in Windows.
