How to install Firewire Card

I just recieved my new Creationstation LE. I have two firewire cards I want to install in two slots. But in opening the top I see that it is very hard if not impossible to get down to the slots.

Do you mean that you just took the top lid off?
Did you remove the side?

On the Tower and Tower LE, there are two screws on the top rear, removing these lets you take the top lid off. Once the top is off, the side doors are unlocked. Lift up on them to remove them.

You should be able to get into the case from the left side as you face the front and install the card.
