Piano Lessons

Is there a good program for MIDI files that shows you the piano keys being played, and that can be slowed/stopped for analyzing the song?

I don't know if I would call this topic "Piano Lessons."

Most DAWs have a piano roll feature. It shows a keyboard on the left 90° to where you'd normally see it, with the low notes at the bottom and getting higher towards the top. To the right of that there are bars representing the note position and duration in the order they will be played.

I suppose you could use this like you describe.
