Logic 9 Vs. Pro Tools 8

Ok I'm sorry to do this because i know how these could get heated but I am doing a small study involving a few Forums to find out the "Industry Trend."

We've all heard for years that Pro Tools is the industry standard however with Logic 8 and Logic 9 I have been hearing more and more people doing the switch over to Logic.

So I ask for a simple answer to the question no arguments please.

If you would like a back story would be great. (that should also help keep this thread on top)
