Hi Baggies,
How full is your harddrive? I had some problems with my BR1600CD when the drive got too full so I backed up to PC and did a 'surface scan'. After that I reloaded the songs and it's been fine. I guess the scan is some sort of defrag and made accessing the hd data more efficient.
