    Subsonic Sound

I have noticed when at concerts some drummers have an electronic pad hooked up to some sort of rack gear (probably a drum module) and at a particular point in the song they will hit the pad which sends this deep subsonic bass frequency through the crowd, you can't hear it as much as you can feel it. What would this be?

It's probably a Roland SPD-S Sampler. The rubber pad you're talking about is probably a PD-8 Trigger Pad. The subsonic thing you're talking about may be a sampled 808 kick. I know the SPD-S comes with one, but you can also put your own on there if you want a deeper sound.

Yes, its just a bass drop. You cna get the effect you want with any drum module, or trigger pad. You may have to look aruond for the exact type of synth you want. You could creat one as well.
