I am going to soon purchase some drum hardware and I have narrowed it down to the PDP brand. However I am stuck between the 800 series or the 900 series. I know what the differences are between the two, but I am unsure on the needs of each. When would I need heavy weight hardware such as the 900. In your opinion would the 800 hardware be good for gigging as well as holding a tom and cymbal both? Any help would be great!
