Logic Studio recommends Firewire audio interface. I already have a Benchmark DAC 1 USB. Would there be any significant advantage to go to Firewire (Apogee). I am ordering an iMac and I want to do the right thing for the audio interface. Thanks!

Firewire can be a little more robust for many channels of audio. For two it won't make any difference.
The Apogee is a good box, but so is the Benchmark. If you're happy with it stay put.
