If you want to copy an object, right click on the object, then go to 'object' then 'cutting objects' then either 'duplicate' or 'duplicate multiple'. The first option puts it right on top of the original object, the other lnes them up after.

    hope that helps.

    Hi,
The "copy object" command is a bit extinct - it doesn't do what most people expect so its not used. Its best to switch on the magnet and mark over the object and copy/paste that.

    cheers

    Another option...

Left click the object to select it.

    Press and hold 'Ctrl'

Now you can Left click and drag a copy of the object where you want it.
